You may look at the term reproach and wonder how in the world can I avoid reproach to get rid of
anxiety and panic. The truth is you will need reproach in your life, but it is how you use the
reproach that determines if anxiety and panic will rise. Consider that reproach is criticism. Many
of us criticize, however there is good and bad criticism. If you are accusing while reproaching it
will spark emotions, rise blood levels and possibly start a riot. Thus, this will lead to panic and
anxiety. However, if you talk to a person without judging, accusing, lecturing, chastising, and the
like you can make a point that could help both you and the other party involved. Some forms of
reproach are seen at what time an office gives a driver a warning instead of a ticket. The warning
is letting the driver know that he or she needs to take steps to avoid the same problem. The
problem if ignored could lead to much bigger problems.

Likewise, it is ok to lecture a person providing you talk, address issues, teach, and instruct the
person with positive communication. However, if you go on and on for hours most times it will
cause people to feel frustrated and most times the majority will miss the point.

The point is how we address issues in our life can determine the level of anxiety and panic we
endure. Anyway, you go you will have anxiety and panic at some point, but it is how you deal with
it and how you control you that determine the level of suffering. Stress is the leader of the pack
followed by anxiety and then panic. What underlie stress however are stressors and the root of it
all falls on fear.

If you learn to understand what causes panic and anxiety you will have a chance at winning the
battle. Likewise, if you learn to accept fear and realize that most times the amount of danger you
create in your mind is imagined you will soon learn to control anxiety and panic.

Thus, we need to understand, accept, and move ahead to avoid problems. To understand means
that you have appreciation while realizing that the fear exists inside you. With this in mind you will
soon recognize the fear and realize that the value of your fear is often imagined. For instance, a
paranoid schizophrenia brings on panic and anxiety from his/her hallucinations, thus believing
that the CIA and KGB are after them. If the person learns to control his own mind, he may find
that his fears are completely null and void. However, is it?

Guilt is the underlying issue with most schizophrenics, and often the guilt comes from
misbelieving, unawareness, and so forth along with lies. The person is often lying to self, since no
one in few instances is out to get them. Therefore, we see part of the problem is guilt and lies.

Guilt is good if you learn to take responsibility for your actions. However, guilt becomes the
enemy when a person adds shame, self-reproach, and so forth without forgiving self. For
instance, if you called a friend a nerd and called him in an hour to apologize you might feel guilt,
however as you make amends, you should quickly let go of the shame and guilt while avoiding
reproach of self in negative connotation.

We all have problems in life, and everyday we have stress. The key is to minimize stressors,
conform to healthier qualities, and face your fears while learning the truth.
