A Brief History of BowTech Archery

Various companies have made a business in delivering bow and arrow products to hunters and archers. Some companies are innovators of archery equipment. One of this is BowTech Archery.

Josh Strasheim and a partner started to create a few bows in 1999 marking the foundation of BowTech Archery. On December of 2002, BowTech Archery brought together all of its manufacturing facilities and corporate offices into a 65,000 square-foot building on the outlying areas of Eugene, Oregon. The corporate building houses the administrative and operational functions of the company. Situated on 14 acres, BowTech Archery's building also includes a Factory Pro Shop.

A state-of-the-art hydrographic transfer facility was introduced on the West Coast by BowTech Archery on February of 2004. WaterDog Surface Technologies, a subsidiary operated by the company provides finishing touches to BowTech Archery products as well as Diamond Archery's. In addition to the products of Bowtech, the subsidiary company has also made alliances with several outdoor manufacturers.

BowTech made a strategic move for company growth by acquiring Diamond Archery on September of 2004. The strategic expansion allowed the company to increase its asset size and market share.

BowTech conceptualized a new corporate philosophy that has been used as a driving force for generating ideas and creating revolutionized products. The primary result of this business concept was the integration of the product line of BowTech bows with Binary Cam System. This patent pending technology developed in 2005 was intended for release in 2006. It is deemed a current technology in compound bows.

The Center Pivot is a riser technology introduced by BowTech Archery in 2007. This technology can be found in the Commander and The Guardian bows. Each of these bows features limb design, zero vibration and stability in riser.

BowTech is committed to giving customers with excellent products. For this to realize, BowTech has invested on the design, engineering, and manufacturing processes including research and development. The company offers a lifetime warranty on its products as part of its customer care program.

BowTech Archery is now on its progressive stage. The company also offers products with Stryker and Airow Gun labels. Aside from bow and arrow products, the company also has a product line of BowTech Gear.
