Ninja Kawasaki motorcycles are famous for their speed, performance and overall handling, with the Kawasaki Ninja 500R as one of the more famous Ninja Kawasaki motorcycles. A 498cc motorcycle, the Kawasaki Ninja 500R first came out in 1987 and still is in production, with various enhancements and improvements. It is often referred to as the EX500, but is popularly known as the Ninja 500R.

This particular motorcycle among Kawasaki motorcycles is rigged with a parallel-twin engine which is liquid cooled. It boasts six transmission levels, as well as chain driven drive train system. Though referred to as an entry level sport bike, the Kawasaki Ninja 500R comes built in with a considerable overall performance value.

As a tour bike, the Kawasaki Ninja 500R boasts a 4.8 gallon fuel tank, which could easily cover an area over 240 kilometers. As with all Kawasaki motorcycles, utmost focus is given on engine performance with the Kawasaki Ninja 500R. Its engine boasts four valves per each cylinder, as it is liquid cooled. It comes with 34mm CVK semi-flat slide carburetors, a positive neutral finder, and dual trip meters. It also comes with front and rear disc brakes, the front disc break coming with a dual-piston caliper and the rear with a single-piston caliper.

The motorcycle is made with lightweight aluminum components, which provide quick suspension response. It stands as a superstar among Kawasaki motorcycles.

Another popular bike among Kawasaki motorcycles would be the Vulcan series of Kawasaki motorcycles, with the Vulcan 800 Drifter being its most popular model. A 1940's styled cruiser motorcycle, the Vulcan 800 Drifter comes powered by a single overhead cam. Its 805cc engine is liquid cooled, which also happens to be a v-twin engine type, both positioned side by side on a 55 degree angle.

It comes with a mono-shock rear suspension system, giving it a more versatile ability in dealing with rough or smooth terrain. Though the model is relatively low in terms of production values, the Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Drifter is quite the motorcycle, often mistaken for as an Indian Chief bike, or a Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Kawasaki motorcycles, all in all, are more than just "good looking" motorcycles. What they gain points for looking good, they also boast to score when it comes to their performance.
