Goodbye, So Thong Moving To A More Comfortable Thong Style

Therefore, you have a drawer full of thongs that you have collected over the years. The only ones that are comfortable are now falling apart and your new collection is unbearable to wear. You need to know what type of thong fits your body. Also having some knowledge of fabric types will help as well. The largest complaint about thongs is the perpetual wedgie that causes irritation and chafing with it. Remember a thong is not the same as a G-string. A thong has a crotch so is thicker than a G-string. The waistband is also thicker. So if all this time you thought you were wearing a G-string you might have been mistaken from the get go. You will want to make sure that you know your panty size so the sides do not cut into you. The crotch area seems to give women the most hassle with thongs. So don't just pick up any neat looking style and think it will work. This will not give you the comfort you need.

The first think to think about when you are finding that perfect thong is the fabric. Yes you want breathable but you also have to think moisture as well. A synthetic fabric blend tends to be breathable and offers the dryness factor. Cotton-poly blends have this feature too. The all cotton thong gives women the most trouble. Cotton has a tendency to hold in moisture instead of allowing for evaporation. This is what causes the irritation and chafing. The moisture and the rubbing of the thong as the woman moves can be quite painful to say the least. So stick to a blended fabric that allows evaporation and you will not have to worry so much about chafing and pain. Also make sure that fabric in the crotch is very thin as opposed to layered. The extra fabric can cause stiffening and have the thong not move with your body, as it should. Instead it will either cause friction or ride up. The thinner the material, the better off you are. It will then be capable of molding to you and work with you as opposed to fighting you and causing immense pain and discomfort.

The next thing you want to look for when thong shopping is the width and length of the crotch area. The width should be small and not noticeable while walking or sitting. The thinner it is the better off you will be. It is the thicker crotches with the reinforcements that tend to cause women the most problems. This is also where the moisture factor will be the largest issue as well. Go for a thin layer of fabric that is elastic. You will find your thongs much more comfortable. As far as length is concerned this is just as vital as width. If your thong's crotch is too long then it will drive you bananas. It will never be where it should and you will constantly feel uncomfortable. Hiking your thong up to your armpits will not help. It will only fall right back down again for sure. You will be very unpleasantly aware if your thong crotch is too short. It will not only give you a wedgie that awful. It will also rub and chafe you no matter what type and thickness of material you have. Pulling your panties down lower will make the wedgie go away but will be uncomfortable as well and be awkward.

Therefore, now go get rid of all those thongs that don't work and get some that do. There is no reason that you can't wear the type of panties you like and be absolutely comfortable at the same time. You can love your thongs again now that you know what to look for better yet what to stay away from. Wearing a thong does not have to be a horrendous event for any woman. In fact before you go shopping examine the pairs of thongs you already have and love so you know what to look for when replacing them. Once you have mastered what to look for in a thong you will not have to worry about whether or not they are going to drive you crazy. This will save you from having to go into the ladies restroom at work take your thong off and throw it in the trash.
