(Most are attached with an easy to remove knob. Remove the knob and slide the loose compartment off.) Install your new drive according to the instructions. Once you have it installed, just put the hard shell back on and restart the computer. You will want to transfer the data from your old hard drive to the new and not the other way around.

It is an exact copy of all of your important data. You can use this to boot up your personal computer.
