A Rising Concern: Child Obesity

Living in an information era can be a blessing and a curse. When it comes to children, access to games and other entertainment online and on entertainment systems tends to draw children in and make them reluctant to get outside and play more active games to burn off calories. Child obesity is becoming a greater problem in the world today because of this factor as well as many other causes of childhood obesity. Families with obese children usually need to change the types of foods that are kept in the house as well as the types of meals that are prepared to make them lower in fat and high in the nutrients that the child needs.
