Certification Tracks
The Microsoft Office certification provides for several different certification tracks. Each certification track has a separate set of eligibility requirements that you must comply with, and such requirements must in turn depend on the specific type of Microsoft Office certification specialization you want.
For instance, if you have decided to take the Microsoft Office certification exam for Office 2003 Edition Track and aiming to get a Master Certification, then you are required to successfully complete three required exams and one elective exam. The required exams are Word 2003 Expert, Excel 2003 Expert, and PowerPoint 2003, while the Elective is either Access 2003 or Outlook 2003.
On the other hand, if you have decided to take the Microsoft Office certification exam, specifically for expert certification under the Office 2003 Editions Track, then you have the option to successfully complete either the Word 2003 Expert exam or the Excel 2003 Expert exam.
Under the Office 2003 Edition Track, another type of Microsoft Office certification is offered – that is the Specialist Certification. In order to qualify for the specialist certification, you must successfully complete any of the following specialist exams:
