Why Should You Learning Conversational Spanish?

Why Should You Learning Conversational Spanish?

If you're thinking about learning conversational Spanish, good for you! That's terrific! You should be happy that you've made the commitment to learn a foreign language – and though it won't be extremely easy, it isn't the hardest language to learn and there are many reasons supporting your decision to learn to speak conversational Spanish.

Useful Language? You Bet!

Given you want to learn a language, you might as well learn one that will be very useful. If you were planning to move to the Congo, learning Afrikaans would make sense. If you were going on a trip to Iceland, learning Icelandic might be smart. But some languages are useful in many more places than one. Spanish happens to be one of them. (So is English, so you're already ahead there!)

Used All Over The Place!

Learning conversational Spanish is a smart thing to do because there are so many people in the world who speak Spanish. Not only do people from Spain speak it, but also those from Mexico, Latin America, and South America.

If you ever travel to a Spanish-speaking country, you'll be grateful that you've learned conversational Spanish. You'll have an easier time of getting around the country as you travel, and can go to the places the locals go rather than just the touristy places.

If you never travel to a Spanish-speaking country, you'll still be grateful for your language of Spanish! Our country now has a lot of Spanish-speakers living in it. If you learn conversational Spanish you can communicate with any of them.

Also, being able to speak the language of so many people means there are more people you can converse with and get to know. A lot of the nice people out there you will now have access to meeting!

Job Opportunities Galore!

If you are ever job hunting, it is a big boon if you can claim to be bilingual. Learning conversational Spanish will give you what it takes to achieve a fluency that will make you welcome in many fields – customer service, of course, but also other jobs.

Be aware, too, that in many jobs you will get a bonus if you can speak more than one language. Wouldn't you like to be paid more for having learned conversational Spanish? You can!

What About The Future?

Once you know Spanish, you have knowledge you can pass on to others. You can teach your children, grandchildren, friends, husband/wife, boyfriend . . . anyone you know who wants to learn a few useful phrases or more.
