Legacy That Worcester Technical High School Bestows

Most of us probably think or consider that having college education is the only way to have better chance of finding a good paying job or better job opportunities. Of which, is in contrast with the recent studies conducted by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The said government agency has concluded that more than eighty percent of occupations these days do not necessarily require a four year college degree. Of which, is also the main reason why there are lots and lots of educational institutions these days that offer vocational education courses, trainings and programs.

The Worcester Technical High School is considered as one of the best educational institutions that offer vocational educational courses, trainings and programs. Formerly known as the Worchester Boys Trade School, the said educational institution is located in downtown Worchester. The Worcester Technical High School is also considered as one of the first educational institutions in the United States that provided vocational education.

The Worcester Technical High School was founded in 1908 with the aim to teach and train individuals with the fundamental trade skills in order to meet the increasing demand for these types of people. And as time goes by, the demand for such types of work force is constantly increasing. Other than that, the need for "well trained" and "well educated" individuals has made the Worcester School District answer the call. Thus, providing the local community with a educational institution that not only offers academic programs but also vocational and technical programs.

The "New England Association of Schools and Colleges" fully recognized the diplomas and certifications that Worcester Technical High School provides to its students who have completed their courses. And like most of the educational institutions of today, the Worcester Technical High School also utilizes the "shared time" method; a method of which provides students equal time in both technical and academic subjects.

The Worcester Technical High School greatly emphasizes on the training and teachings of their students to have a more critical way of thinking as well as being more reliable and highly efficient. They also teach their students to yearn for a higher goal in life. In addition to the things that are mentioned above, the Worcester Technical High School do not only teach or train their students the fundamental trade skills they also use the most advance facilities and equipments that technology has to offer in teaching their students.
