Nano IPOD Video Transferring Assistance

Nano IPOD Video Transferring Assistance

So, you bought that innovative gadget that downloads music, videos, data, movies and more. You purchased enough gigabytes and the display looks good. Now you are off and running, finished downloading your favorite hits, but it comes to the moment you need to transfer and do not know where to go. Well first of all, you must have iTunes downloaded onto your hard drive. You must also have a USB Port on your computer so that you can connect the FIREWIRE from the computer to the IPOD. If you have completed this process then we can go through the process of transferring your files. Furthermore, you should have your software that came with your IPOD installed onto your computer, however if you forgot, here we go.

The Complete Steps to Transferring Music onto Nano IPods
If you are transferring the music to your Nano, you will need to install IPODS software, which came along with the device purchase. You likely have a CD, therefore, plug into the disc drive, and follow the steps to download the software if you haven't already done so. If you have a MAC computer, you will need to select the iTune Icon located in your documents and then choose Start from the menu.

If you are transferring likely you have tunes stored in the play list or library at iTunes program, otherwise you can import your favorite tunes from a CD, or from your computer up to iTunes library or play list. If you are considering downloading music before transferring, you will need to purchase hits from iTunes music window. If you haven't already purchased hits, you will need to supply a credit card to iTunes purchase window. This is a secured connection so don't worry. Once you provide your credit card details, you merely select the song you wish to purchase and the downloading begins. You will see your hits on a list window.

Connecting the Dots
You will need to connect the USB Cable to the back or front of your computer. You will need to optimize if you are installing on a standard PC that is if the process does not start on its own. If you have a Mac, you are a lucky dog because it will automatically optimize for you.

Naming the POD
You will need to provide the given name of your device before selecting the transfer option. Once you click transfer, mechanical actions will unfold. If you have more songs in your library, your hits will be automatically stored in a play list at iTunes Window.

Once the list appears and all songs are selected for transferring you will need to click on the Next tab. You will see your IPOD in the Source area of iTunes program. At this point, you will notice an automatic transferring of your tunes. Once the process completes you will need to click on the Eject tab, which is generally located near the Source area of iTunes, or on your main window IPOD. Now you can unplug your IPOD from the computer.

Sounds easy enough, but one thing I learnt about technical gadgets, is it is easier to tell someone how to perform a function verses them doing it. If you have, difficulty refer to your user's manual, which should provide your helpful steps in completing the process. If you need additional assistance, likely you will have technical support available to you; otherwise visit the Internet where everyone is talking about IPODS. Anyway, hope this information helps you. Happy transferring, downloading, burning, ripping, or whatever it is you are doing.
