Video IPods In Demand

Video IPods in Demand

You can't run you can't hide. Video iPods are now taking control of the technical world bringing forth-flash memory, portable devices, and easy downloading capabilities. Where in Sam's name is the world going to next. Since Apple's first design newer versions of iPods came into play, which made it easier to download thousands of hits at speeds faster than lightning. Now we have software converters, a variety of iPods, and tons of websites offering free music, videos, movie clips, and games.

How do we use these iPods? How does downloading music, games, data, videos, movies, and all that good stuff work? Well it depends on the system, but many connect you to iTunes, which you select hits, purchase, download, rip, and burn to DVD/CD, iPod or computer. Many free downloads are available but you want to be carefully since many of these sites are illegally operated. You cannot download free anything according to the slicks that claim you can. If you do not have an original version, then downloading will put you in the arms of the law. I don't know about you, but I like hugs just not those kinds.

IPODS are similar to computers, i.e. you can rip, burn, download, upload, save files, copy files, and so forth. If you want to save a file on your iPod, you will merely select the Save Tab from the Menu and you are off to the running. If you want to get your music loaded onto your computer, well then it depends what system you own, but for those of you owning an EPHPOD you will need to open your applications menu. Once this menu is available, you will click “start” and then “programs.” You will have a FIREWIRE which you will connect to the back your computer. You will need a working USB Port to make things happen.

You should have connected your iPod to your computer by now, which then you will pull down the lists menu. The list menus is similar to your computers file list. (E.g. c ://)

Now you can double click on your music list. You should see all the songs downloaded in the play list at this point. It looks sort of like a database, or spreadsheet window. Once you have selected the songs you wish to copy, click right on the mouse, and click the Directory where the songs are listed. You can use the keyboard or mouse to copy the files. To use the keyboard merely hold down Ctrl + Alt + C simultaneously. Once you are asked where you wish to save the file, pull down the list and select Desktop. You can now click OK, since your program device will create a file folder to store your music.

IPODS are very easy to use, providing you have a basic understanding and a knowledge to follow instructions. Most iPods come complete with instructions that will guide you through the process of downloading, copying, recovering, deleting, ripping, burning and more. If you have an iPod, most likely you have already figured out how to perform most actions on the device.

If your device is causing you to loose files, you might need to reset the machine. You can do this by employing the scroll wheel and touching the key pad. If you have a later version of Apple's iPod and need support, you may need to research the Internet where a wealth of information is readily waiting for you. Most likely, someone has uploaded valuable tips, tricks, and how to perform any action, even on the later versions.
