Nintendo excitedly launched its newest addition to the current-generation game consoles, which is a rendition of the game console codenamed "Revollution". This time, it's the Nintendo Wii game system. Launched on November 14, 2006, Nintendo aims to realize their goal of manufacturing a game console that everybody, not only the gaming public, can relate to.

Console - In the 2005 E3, Nintendo Wii console garnered several awards including being the smallest console to date measuring only 8.5 inches and weighing 2.0 pounds. The console accepts 12cm optical discs and an 8cm Nintendo GameCube discs. Wii Input can cmuumunicate with four wii remotes at the same time and a bay intended for an SD memory card. The CPU has an internal flash memory of 512 MB courtesy of IBM while the GPU (graphics processing unit) is from ATI "Hollywood".

Sensor Bar - Utilizing the Bluetooth technology, the Wii Remote sends your movements to the console from a maximum distance of 30 feet away. The controller is able to send signals from a distance of 15 feet away. The Wii Console allows four Wii Remotes to be connected at the same time, consequently giving way for four players at once.

Wii Remote - the most notable perhaps of the Nintendo Wii hardware information is the Wii remote, which has so far has not been featured in other game consoles of Nintendo's competitors. The Wii remote serves multiple purposes and is utilized in most games compatble to Nintendo Wii. It determines actions and motions of players on screen and emulates the actions like you're inside the game itself.

Nunchuk - this device contains a similar technology that can sense movements of the player. The Nunchuk comes with an analog stick where buttons are distinctly position for quick access when in the game.
Classic Controller - this controller is a sheer reminder of the good old days of N64 with a design that lets those who can't seem to get enough with Mario Brothers play classic games. This controller can be purchased separately.
