The Delphi Roady2 XM Satellite Radio Receiver is a compact plug-and-play satellite radio. It has a built-in FM modulator. With this FM modulator, having a conventional car radio will enable one to listen to XM through an unused frequency. It also has a cassette adapter that can be used if one has an auxiliary input in the head unit. The connection in the AUX input would provide for a better sound than through the FM modulator.
The LCD display can show the channel name & number, and artist & song title. The Delphi Roady2 XM Satellite Radio Receiver has a memory button that can store up to 20 songs. It also has the Direct Tune option.
It is able to display up to 20 customized stock quotes. Comstock Inc. provides for this stock data. The stock information, as well as the market index information may be delayed by around 25 minutes.
The Delphi Roady2 XM Satellite Radio Receiver offers 150 digital channels. It has a TuneSelectTM feature. With this feature, the user can enter songs, which when played on any XM channel, will notify you. When you hear a song that you might want to hear again, just press on the tuning wheel for around two seconds, after which, it will be entered into your TuneSelectTM list. Thus, whenever that song you entered will be played on any channel, a ‘beep’ tone will sound and the display will indicate “Song Found”. This will give the user the option to go to that specific station playing the song you entered into the list. Or you can just ignore it, and the current station or channel you are in will continue playing. The Delphi Roady2 XM Satellite Radio Receiver can hold a maximum of 20 songs, and if you save more than that, it will replace the oldest on the list.
It also has an auto-on option, which automatically powers on the unit when the car is turned on. One can always turn it on manually if one so wishes to forego of this feature. The Delphi Roady2 XM Satellite Radio Receiver can be used with a home kit for a powerful home stereo system.
