Technically, anything is possible. This statement defines Mitsubishi Electric throughout the 25 the years of taking part in the television industry. In 1997, the Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America, Inc., a direct subsidiary of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation of Japan, opened their biggest state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in the whole of Northern America. Utilizing cutting-edge developments in science and technology, the 400,000 square feet facility is capable of producing over 1,000 television sets in a day.

Available Mitsubishi televisions are CRT televisions, LCD televisions, microdisplay televisions, and plasma televisions.

For this year, Mitsubishi televisions developed three models of CRT televisions and 12 models in 2005. Features incorporated in the CRT models are technologies developed by Mitsubishi televisions: Plush™ Imaging that processes broadcast signals received to enhance display images. PerfectColor™ is another exclusive feature of Mitsubishi televisions that gives customers a chance to manipulate the intensity of six different color options. Another key feature in Mitsubishi televisions is the Auto Film Mode that automatically discerns movie films and adjusts them for programming. All CRT televisions have digital cable ready HDTV.

Mitsubishi televisions in 1080p LCD Flat Panel HDTV models apply the same principles used in laptops, handheld electronic games, and cell phones. Mitsubishi televisions in these models produce bright displays and are thin enough to be mounted on walls. The technology used in LCD Flat Panels can bring out 2 million pixels from 1080 sources like the newest HD technology disc formats, HD broadcasts, and the latest HD Gaming consoles.

Mitsubishi Electric designed nine models of LCD televisions for this year. These models features Mitsubishi patented technologies: DeepField™ Imager, SharpEdge™, Mitsubishi Exclusive LCD Light Engine, SmartShutter™, QuickMotion™, Plush720p™, and PerfectColor™. All these key technologies make Mitsubishi's LCD televisions produce high resolution and bright colored images through a 62" screen.

The 73" 1080p DLP television is among the line of the Mitsubishi Diamond 927 Series, which displays what Mitsubishi calls, the best picture ever. Each model features Mitsubishi's latest high output 150 Watt 1080p DLP™ light engine combined with the newest advanced digital signal processing.

Mitsubishi first used the plasma technology on their televisions in 1996. They created four plasma television models for 2006. Two models feature High Definition Plasma Flat Panel Monitor and the other two are HD-Upgradable Plasma Monitors. Mitsubishi's plasma televisions have a high-density resolution of 1024 x 768p. All models feature the exclusive technologies mentioned earlier to produce vibrant pictures.
