It keeps going, and going, and going…” Who could forget Energizer’s drum-playing rabbit television commercial that easily captured a lot of viewer’s attention, especially children, with its famous line being repeated over and over. It was definitely a simple yet very effective TV commercial, with the power of reminding consumers what brand to buy when in a store’s counter and purchasing batteries; particularly those with their kids saying “let’s buy the rabbit …” and goes on with the commercial’s famous lines.

Television commercials are definitely a very effective way of selling products, services, organizations, and ideas. The fact that millions of people watch the television for more than a few hours everyday makes it a very effectual means of reaching more people and making an impact to prospect consumers. Although it may be a rather expensive way of presenting a product, its return on sales are often three-folds than what was spent on the television commercial.

The majority of television commercials are produced through an advertising agency, and the airtime is bought from a network or channel, in exchange for a programming sponsorship. These days, sports events, dramatic entertainments, and even the news, as well as different information programs, are intended to create profits for the companies whose products are featured through television commercials.
