The Rachael Ray Television Show, Making A Big Wave On TV

Don’t you feel confused when you surf your cable channels and there are so many shows you want to watch at the same time? All stations are flooded with reality shows, drama series, comedy and gag shows, movies, competitions, game shows, variety shows, and talk shows that you are in a dilemma on which show to watch. New series seasons come and show reruns continue to play, and there are new shows that arrive.

One of the newest talk shows that hit TV is the Rachael Ray television show, which is hosted by Rachael Ray and initially launched in the US and Canada on 18 September 2006. This is co-produced by Rachael Ray and Oprah Winfrey, and internationally distributed through CBS.

The Rachael Ray television show is conceptualized because of the personality and passion of Rachael Ray herself. She loves food, cooking, sharing ideas, and action. This show displays Rachael Ray’s culinary skills and fun personality, and gives upbeat ideas and heartwarming topics like the Oprah Winfrey Show. What makes the set of Rachael Ray television show different from the other television talk shows is that it has an unusual set-up --- a large rotating turntable serves as a seat for the audience to always see the “action” wherever it may be located in the studio.

Because it is a co-production with Oprah Winfrey, Rachael Ray agrees with the deal that it will not be aired on the same time as Oprah Winfrey Show, but it may compete with Dr. Phil’s show, even if Dr. Phil is another Winfrey production.

The Rachael Ray television show has already invited big names in the industry, these celebrities either visited as an interviewee or a mystery taster of her culinary magic. Some of the show’s guest stars were Diane Sawyer, Oprah Winfrey, Dr. Phil, Morgan Freeman, Jessica Simpson, Barry Manilow, Tim Allen, Brooke Shields, Susan Sarandon, Vincent Curatola, and more.

The show carries a tagline and logo bearing Rachael Ray’s initials R&R. True to its tagline, “Everybody needs a little R&R”, the audience will definitely enjoy a dose of laughter, entertainment, and insights. Guests, audience, viewers, and staff surely delight in the show, because of Rachael Ray’s contagious laughter, exciting talk and lively discussion. The show is fast traveling to the other parts of the globe, sharing smiles to more people across countries.
