The first tool is the consumer information section. This section contains useful information to help you find the right advisors and information for your financial planning. Inside the consumer information section are five areas that will help you make the most of your money.
The first is the frequently asked questions center. This link is a first step with many common and easy to answer questions presented. When you first get into the site you probably want to go here to get some of the fundamental and easy questions out of the way.
The next section is the tips and tools section. This section provides you the consumer with some helpful tools and tips to assist in your own personal financial planning.
Next up is the Planning perspectives section. This section contains a quarterly newsletter with short education articles presented by the members of NAPFA. In addition you can subscribe to the newsletter so that it comes in your email each quarter.
The fourth and perhaps the most useful section of the entire site is the find and advisor section. In this area you type in your information and you will be given results that match your criteria. You can choose to not have your information sent to any NAPFA members so that you are completely in control of what advisor you work with. You also have the option of sending your information over to NAPFA and having advisors contact you, so this section is really flexible.
The fifth and final link provides information on published works by members of the organization. These books can be very helpful in planning your financial future.
