Homemade Shaving Soap: The Easier And Affordable Alternative

Heat up the canola, coconut and palm oil in a microwave or double boiler until the mixed components reach a 115 degrees F temperature. Pour the lye into the distilled water. Mix this in a heat-friendly and unbreakable glass. Cool the mixture to about 115 degrees.

Hand-stir the mixture using your hand or a stick mixer. Add the clay, mixing the mixture well. Pour this on your preferred molders. Let the soap sit out for 6 weeks and then you can utilize it.

With this simple homemade shaving soap recipe, you get an affordable way of cutting those unwanted hairs off.
