Ingrown hairs are another problem some people may have after waxing. This occurs when the hair was broken off instead of pulled from the root. To combat this, make sure you either use a professional salon to have your waxing done or that you know how to wax properly. Sometimes if you are not using the correct pulling technique when waxing it can cause the hair to break off. Forty eight hours after the initial waxing you should begin a regimen of exfoliating the area. At least twice per week use an exfoliating scrub on the area.
