Waxing Hair Removal

Where Can You Wax For Hair Removal

Waxing is a very effective way to remove hair and can be done either at home or at a salon. However, before waxing, you should be aware that there are parts of the body that are not recommended for waxing and some parts of the body that should only be waxed under ideal circumstances. There are even parts of the body that are not recommended for home waxing but can safely be done in a salon by trained professionals. In order to ensure you are waxing properly for hair removal, you should be well aware of what parts of the body are safe for waxing, which should only be handled by professionals and which should never be prone to waxing.

First, there are parts of the body that are simply not as accessible as others for self waxing. Hair removal in those areas can be accomplished at home but only with the assistance of another person. If you have someone you live with or have access to a friend or family member who can assist, feel free to wax at home. But if not, you should invest in a professional hair removal specialist to take care of them. For women, often the bikini area is one of those areas. Contorting to be able to reach those areas can be difficult to reach, though not impossible. For men, waxing the back is one of the areas that should be taken care of by someone else or by a professional. It is nearly impossible to reach all areas of the back by yourself to effectively wax.

There are other parts of the body that are recommended for professionals only because of the sensitivity of the skin. The genitals and nipples can be waxed but it is not recommended for home waxing. Professional hair removal specialists have the knowledge to take care of this safely and the tools available to make this process less risky. It is highly recommended that these parts of the body are never waxed by someone who is not specifically trained for it.

There are parts of the body that should never be waxed by anyone. If hair removal is necessary in these areas, another technique should be used. Areas that should never be waxed include the hands, soles of the feet, inside nostrils, inside the ears, eyelashes and eye lids. The reason for this is the skin in these areas is highly sensitive. The rough removal of hair in these areas can cause permanent damage so waxing is not recommended. There are other forms of hair removal that can be utilized, if needed, for these.

If you would like to use waxing as a hair removal system, feel free to use it on the eyebrows, lip, back, chest, legs, arms, underarms and bikini area. Be careful with back and bikini areas because it may be difficult to reach comfortable and you may not be able to effectively remove all the wax by yourself. If you have unwanted hair on the genitals or in the nipple area, it can be removed with waxing but should only be attempted by trained professionals. Make sure you never use waxing for hair removal inside the ear or nose, on eyelashes, eye lids, soles of the feet and hands. Proper waxing can be an effective solution but using wax in areas not recommended can cause permanent damage.
