Serta Mattress

When it comes to mattress talk, people usually think and mention about Serta mattress. I bet this is due to the fact that Serta mattresses have been one of the best and worth mentioning names in the mattress industry. It has in fact been considered as the second largest US brand of mattresses, after Sealy.

Serta has been on the business for more than 70 years. Its name was first recognized in the early 1970s when Serta designed and introduced the plusher, Pillow Soft mattress which was constructed out of the company's recognition of the people's demand for a hard mattress that will aid them to have a proper back support.

From that innovation, Serta has moved on to the use of the convoluted foam in the upholstery of its mattresses, and it was during the 1980s when the company has introduced its first continuous coil innerspring that was featured on its first Perfect Sleeper line to provide the people not only a hard back support, but a better support for the shoulders, back and hips. The Perfect Sleeper line of Serta mattresses has remained until now as one of the best-sellers in the mattress industry.

Serta has also been known for a number of great innovations that were developed in the early 1990s. One of the company's greatest achievements was the introduction of the most significant comfort innovation in its history, the Comfort Quilt. This Serta mattress system is noted for its combination of fibers and convoluted foam, and it is nice to know that it was this particular innovation which lifted Serta mattress line into popularity. The combination was considered mainly for the reason that fibers and convoluted foam have the capability to improve circulation, reducing the tossing and turning for a more restful night's sleep.

Not only is Serta mattress noted for its continuous coil innerspring and the combination of fibers and convoluted foam. The truth is, the Serta mattress line is known for its Triple Beam frame which was designed and developed for increased durability, in the first place. With the Triple Beam frame, it's no surprise that today most of the Serta mattresses boasts three layers of prime lumber which delivers more than twice the strength of the traditional box spring frames. Following this innovation, an increased plant capacity by more than 300 percent was also incorporated to the line of Serta mattresses.

Today, a number of models are already introduced to the public for perusal and purchase. Included in the most well-known models of Serta mattresses are the Perfect Night mattres, which boasts a FreeFlex innerspring, Sensifiber, and Quad Beam Frame; the flame resistant mattress; the International Touch visco foam line of bedding with the Fireblocker construction; and Serta's Perfect Day line which was designed and tailor-made especially for women with busy lifestyles. The good news is, all of these lines are now made available on the market for you to consider.
