However, just like benzoyl peroxide, this too is not recommended for use due to some risky side effects. It is noted that there are some contraindications for this acne medication. For instance, food, antacids, iron supplements and milk can interfere with the absorption of this antibiotic. And, this acne medication can kill the good bacteria in your bowel and can cause your teeth to turn gray.
