Relaxing Those Nerves In How To Get Rid Of Anxiety And Panic

Self Help and Support

Relax those nerves. What is the matter with you? Sometimes we have to ask self-questions and tell self to relax the nerves to settle our emotions. We all go through panic attacks, worries, fear, anxiety attacks, and the like at some point in our life. Some of us are prone to panic and anxiety while others is less apt to adapt. What is the matter with you? Some of us panic and worry over little things that we have control over, while others fret over larger problems, which still they have control in most instances. Sure, if you were facing ten, fifteen, or twenty years in prison then you have probable cause to worry and probably will not have a recourse. Still, you could appeal the sentence.

Most times, we fret over money issues, relationships, deaths, illnesses, injury, and the like. The emotions often react to these issues as they come along, and as our mind perceives, labels and decides what level of danger is present, the emotions respond accordingly.

Now let's consider the situations. Death, do you have control over death? Is danger present if someone in the family dies? Do you have the ability to learn from the death and move on with your life?

Illness, do you control over illness? Sure you do. If you maintain your health, exercise, eat right and avoid harmful chemicals and substances that can physically damage your body and mind, thus you have control. Is a danger out of your control involved? Sure, it is, if you fail to heed warning and avoid exercise, eating right, and avoiding harmful chemicals and substances that harm the body and mind.

Do you have control over injury? Sure you do. If you avoid taking unwarranted risks, such as playing with danger. If you play with danger there is always the possibility of injury, likewise if you do not take precautions in everyday life there is a possibility of injury. Is danger present that would cause us to panic and feel anxious? No, not unless you are expecting the worst to happen, then likely it will. I am a believer that the strength of your beliefs can determine outcomes.

Do you have control over financial issues? Sure you do. If you consider new ideas, old ideas, and resources, you likely will come up with a plan to payoff your debts. Many resources are available, thus instilling in the mind that danger is present is only increasing anxiety and panic. Most times people see a bill and will drift off into a panic while feeling anxious. Most times, they fail to see that no danger is involved, thus this hinders the person from making a way out.

Nearly any problem has an outing. All it takes is you to think positive and find the resources. If you think positive, you will release the minds of the pressures we often place on it, thus giving it freedom to help you out of your situation.

The question is then, what can you do to eliminate panic and anxiety. First, you have to get in contact with your body and mind, and then work to eliminate stressors to avoid worry, dread, fear, and the like. Overall, you will need to gain control of your fears, since fear is the ultimate killing of humanity. Thus, fight instead of taking a flight each time a problem comes around and you will get rid of anxiety and panic, along with many other problems. Take control and relax those nerves.
