'Green' Inhalers And Asthma Inhaler Cost

The end of the year 2008 saw the introduction of the 'green' asthma inhaler and this new change though welcome has also had a profound effect on the asthma inhaler costs. For those asthma patients that had become used to the regular asthma inhaler cost for the old-fashioned asthma inhalers the new types of inhalers have had the effect of enthusing them though at the same time also confusing them as well.

More Than Costs

Though there is more to buying an asthma inhaler than just going by the asthma inhaler cost it must be said that there are several advantages to making the switch to these 'green' inhalers and among these advantages is the fact that chemicals being used in the asthma inhaler medicines are different and exclude CFC or chlorofluorocarbons that cause a lot of damage to the Earth. Instead, the new inhalers contain the more eco-friendly chemicals known as hydrofluoroalkane.

This is of course good news for those who are obsessed with going green (and, who is not?) but there is a change in the asthma inhaler cost of these modern inhalers. The fact is that the asthma inhaler cost of the new inhalers is between thirty and sixty dollars which is far more than the asthma inhaler cost of the traditional inhalers that costs only between five and ten dollars.

Besides this extra asthma inhaler cost, the new inhalers also have another aspect to them and that is that users will need a longer learning curve in order to master the mechanics of the new inhaler. This means that you need to worry about more than the high asthma inhaler cost because you will also experience a lot of confusion when you first begin using the new asthma inhalers.

Many first time users have been bewildered not only by the inhalers but also by having to pay so much to own the 'green' asthma inhalers. This has led many continuing to use the old-fashioned inhalers which fact can of course be attributed to the lower costs as well as to being more used to using the traditional inhalers.

Singular asthma medication is really a prescription drug that can help in thwarting asthma attacks as well as helps with controlling certain kinds of nasal allergy conditions. This medication can be taken as granules or in the form of tablets though the former type is generally fed to babies while adults usually consume them as tablets.
