A Common Question: Why Can't I Get Pregnant?

Most women want to have children eventually and have a family. However there are some women that have difficulty getting pregnant. This can cause a lot of stress on the relationship and even result in the woman becoming depressed. If you're one of the many women out there who are wondering why can't I get pregnant, know that there are a few likely reasons for this.

One of the most likely reasons a woman can't get pregnant is that she and her partner are trying at the wrong times. A woman must know when she's ovulating if she wants to stand the best chances of getting pregnant. Women need to understand their cycle and determine when each month they are ovulating if they want to stand the best chances of getting pregnant. It can be hard to determine your cycle and when you ovulate each month because each woman is so different from the next.

The average woman has a cycle that lasts 28 days which means that around the 28 day mark she will be ovulating. In most cases ovulation takes place roughly two weeks after the first day of menstruation. If you find that your cycle is irregular, the best thing you can do is talk to your doctor. For any women who are wondering why can't I get pregnant, if you're having difficulties conceiving and aren't able to figure out your cycle you should get in and talk to your doctor.

Smoking is another common cause of infertility. This doesn't mean that you will never get pregnant if you have ever smoked, but if you are a smoker you are greatly reducing your chances of conceiving. You should plan to kick the habit anyway if you're trying to conceive. Another common reason that women have difficulties getting pregnant is because of their age.

If you're wondering why can't I get pregnant, consider the age that you're trying to have a child at. Once a woman hits the age of thirty, it will be much more difficult for her to get pregnant because the number of eggs inside her body decreases significantly. When a woman wonders why can't I get pregnant she can feel very angry and depressed. These are all possible reasons why you can't get pregnant but they are also fixable.
