Traditionally what comes soon after getting married is the new baby, everyone is looking forward to welcoming. For some, it is that simple, they tell everyone that they are in fact trying to have a baby, and boom, here comes the new sweet, lil baby. However, for many couples it is very discouraging if they do not become pregnant within an amount of time they had figured they would be pregnant. They go into it expecting that there will be no problems actually getting pregnant and having a healthy pregnancy. If they have never been pregnant before, they do not know what to expect anyway, they just all hope for a healthy, happy pregnancy and then the welcoming of their new baby. It is the greatest miracle of all time, no doubt about that.

Some couples that have been struggling with becoming pregnant, may end up at a fertility clinic, discussing their options of different medications that could help them be able to conceive a child finally. They go into this not realizing that many of these medications have the chance of some real serious side effects. There doctor will tell them about their options, and even about many of the side effects, but they are so caught up with the idea of finally being able to conceive, the thought of these risks actually occurring, really does not even cross their minds, more than likely. I am not saying I am against these medications at all. Many couples finally get what they have been waiting for so long for and they are so very happy that they chose this path. I am only saying, before getting on any fertility medications, know exactly what could happen, because of the certain side effects many of these medications really do have.

Do the research, talk with your doctor openly and honestly about all fears and concerns. It is important that you are very clear on every bit of the effects these medications can have on you ok. Some of the risks include, multiple births, as most of you probably are aware of. This is really happening, do not tuck this thought under the rug, it could happen to you as well. Your risks of having twins or even more than that are increased like at least 50% when you are relying on fertility drugs to help you in conceiving a child of your own. That is a huge amount right, yes, many women that have been using these medications for a period of time, do finally get their dream of becoming pregnant, but they may also get more than they bargained for. So, be informed, and be prepared, for whatever may happen from the effects of these fertility medications.

Raising a child is very expensive, the thought of having one child puts some different fears in the minds of financially struggling couples. So imagine, if you get pregnant with two, three or maybe even four little precious angels. Just know that you are financially prepared for the infertility medication expenses and if you do in fact get pregnant from these medications, know that you can afford whatever the good Lord gives you. It can be quite difficult but with the proper support of family and friends you, your spouse and the new lil angels will be just fine. It will just be a great deal of hard work, but the love you get from all of them will be worth it. Just go into this realistically, knowing that you can indeed afford such an expense.
