You can do this by talking to a doctor or checking out books at the library or even by getting on the internet at home and doing some research on all of the different things that you may not yet know about the causes of infertility. There are so many different causes of infertility and knowing these different causes can help in possibly preventing infertility in some instances.

Some causes of infertility still remain unknown to this day, however, many causes have been recognized, therefore people are having more chances of fighting their infertility and getting the proper treatments that could help them try and conceive a child. Several of these infertility problems are caused because of tubal malfunction in women, low sperm count in men and problems with a woman's menstrual cycle. These things play a big part in people having so much trouble being able to have a child on their own. Other causes for women is that they may wait too late in life to try and conceive, therefore resulting in infertility because their tubes could be blocked or they may have difficulties during their periods that could also cause infertility.

Other causes for women's infertility could be because of any type of infection in their body that they may not know about or sometimes if women have endometriosis, this too could result in infertility. For the male, infertility is also caused due to excessive heat around the testicles, from wearing underwear too tight or because of an infection they may not yet be aware of. It is important to have regular check ups with your doctor so that you will be informed of any health issues that could be the main cause for your infertility, with both men and women. If men or women experiment with any types of drugs, this too could be a leading cause in their infertility. Drug related infertility is very common with men and women, among other health problems drugs can cause.

If you and your partner are having trouble with infertility then take a look at your lifestyle and see if anything the two of you may be doing could possibly be the cause for your infertility. If all of that seems to be ok then perhaps you could both go to the doctor and get complete exams. Having this done would determine if there is anything negative going on with your health that may be causing the infertility. Once the cause for your infertility is determined, know that there are many available options for treatment. Talk with your doctor about those options and you should be well on your way to possibly being able to conceive finally, as you have hoped to do for so long.
