Recognizing The Early Signs Of Pregnancy

It can be hard to tell when you are pregnant, but as a woman you need to be aware of what the early signs of pregnancy are. Especially because the risk of ectopic pregnancy is so high you are going to want to make sure that you recognize the early signs of pregnancy so that you know whether or not you are pregnant and when to get yourself in to see your doctor.

As soon as you notice any of the early signs of pregnancy, you want to get in and have a check up, this way the doctor can determine whether or not you are pregnant and if so, make sure that the egg has been implanted in the right location, the uterus, and not in the fallopian tube which would make it an ectopic pregnancy.

Signs and Symptoms

There are a few early signs of pregnancy in particular that you are going to want to be aware of and look out for. One of the most commonly experienced early signs of pregnancy is a darkening of the areolas. This is the area around the nipple, and if you notice that it has suddenly gotten darker, chances are that you are pregnant.

There are few other possible reasons as to why you would be experiencing this, and so this is really one of the main symptoms that you are going to want to watch out for if you think that you may be pregnant.

A light bleeding or cramping is often experienced at the onset of pregnancy, and so you will want to watch out for this as well. Implantation bleeding is incredibly common and can be one of the earliest pregnancy symptoms when, about six to twelve days after conception, the embryo burrows into the uterine wall.

Another of the most commonly experienced early signs of pregnancy is frequent urination. Especially if you are not drinking any more water than you normally do, if you notice that you are making more frequent trips to the bathroom, you should know that you may be pregnant. Usually around six to eight weeks after conception you may find that you are urinating much more than you normally do.

If you experience these or any other symptoms that you think may be associated with pregnancy, even if you think that there is no possible way for you to be pregnant, you are going to want to get a home pregnancy testing kit or better yet get in to see your doctor.
