Where is the Prostate Gland Located in the Body?

The prostate gland is a gland in the male body which surrounds the neck of the bladder and urethra. The prostate contributes to the seminal fluid and its main purpose is to help control the flow of urine. The prostate gland is located just below the bladder behind the pubic bone and behind the bladder. It wraps around the urethra which is the tube that carries the urine from the bladder to the penis.
