Those who study the course will learn more about the speed of sound, wavelength and frequency as these are applied on body organs and tissues. Students get to participate in lab experiments and training in ultrasound schools.

The Ultrasound Radiologist

An ultrasound radiologist will use ultrasound technology primarily to examine or treat a patient. Some features that will be studied in patient's organs include the motion, composition and shape. Other abnormalities will also be checked such as the presence of lumps, inadequate blood flow, cysts and other tumors and growths.
