Home Remedies For Getting Rid Of Varicose Veins

What Are Varicose Veins

In order to get rid of varicose veins you should be aware of what they are. Varicose Veins, also known as Spider veins, are simply described as veins which have become swollen and twisted. This is mainly because of blocked or weakened blood circulation.

What usually occurs is pressure within the veins increases to the level which exceeds the normal resistance to blood flow. The result is that a small group of blood vessels near the surface of the skin begin to enlarge and become dilated. The end result is spider veins, which get their name from the “spider web” looking reddish or purple vein configuration. Varicose veins are mainly found in women between the ages of 30 and 70, although men can also be prone to this ailment.
