Maintaining A Natural Hormone Balance

As a woman begins to age, she may begin to see some significant changes in her body. Generally, these changes in the body are due to the fact that there is a decrease in the production of hormones.

Specifically, two of those specific hormones that are produced within a woman’s body are estrogen and progesterone. Therefore, when there is an imbalance in these hormones or a decrease in production, the affected woman may want to look at correcting this imbalance by utilizing a natural hormone balance therapy program.

Consequently, it is important to know what the effect on the woman’s body is when these two specific hormones are in an unbalanced state and what a natural hormone balance therapy program is.

Effects Of Unbalanced Hormonal Production

As a woman begins to age she begins to notice some significant changes in her body. One of those changes is known as menopause. Menopause is that time in life in which a woman stops menstruating. Understandably, this can be a difficult time and because of the hormonal changes there are a number of specific symptoms associated with this menopausal state. Some of those symptoms can be hot flashes, irritability, tiredness, etc.

Generally, what causes menopause is the reduction in the manufacturing and secretion of hormones. The two basic hormones that are involved in this process include estrogen and progesterone.

In addition, it is important to note that there is a very fine balance between these two hormones. Specifically, during the menopausal state, there continues to be a significant reduction in the secretion of both these hormones. For example, the estrogen level for a woman rapidly decreases to the point where only 40 to 60% of the estrogen hormone is produced within the older woman’s body. Additionally, the production of the hormone progesterone is also dramatically decreased. In fact, the progesterone levels within a woman’s body are reduced by as much as 100%.

This is important because progesterone counters the adverse effects of estrogen within the woman’s body. Subsequently, if the progesterone is no longer part of the hormonal activity, then the estrogen is left to run its own course throughout the woman’s body. This in turn may cause cancer within a woman’s breasts or her reproductive system.

What Is a Natural Hormone Balance Therapy Program?

Therefore, a natural hormone balance is an option for the woman to consider and can be achieved in a number of ways. One of those ways is through the use of synthetic medication that can be taken orally and provides progesterone which in turn counters the effects of the estrogen within the woman’s body.

Another option for the woman to consider in order to maintain a natural hormone balance is through the use of a natural hormone cream. This natural hormone balance can be maintained through the application of the cream which is generally manufactured from natural products found on the planet. Specifically this cream can consist of hormones found in soybeans or found in yams that grow in certain wild areas of Mexico.
