This of course means that when you go bird watching in Africa in these parts you will have a chance to view more than thirteen hundred different bird species which is far more than the estimated nine hundred plus bird species found in the southern regions of Africa.

If however you choose to go bird watching in Africa in the southern regions then the countries worth visiting include South Africa, Botswana, Swaziland, Namibia as too Zimbabwe and Zambia. The first named in particular has some of the best avian life and so is worth choosing ahead of the other countries.

Kenya of course is an excellent option in regard to picking a country where you can go bird watching in Africa and more particularly in the eastern parts of that continent. The Kenyan Central Highlands are thickly forested and the rest of the country too is a virtual haven for the most exciting bird species. Places in Kenya worth checking out include Aberdare National Park as too Lake Baringo and the Amboseli National Park.

There are several interesting places to go bird watching in Alaska, which as every American knows still remains the last frontier. With low number of humans inhabiting this largest (land mass) state in the US there is therefore a lot of barren territory in the state that also is home to some of the most outstanding wildlife and bird species. What's more, there are also many tours available that will take you deep into the wilderness to view some of best bird species on the continent.
