So Halloween is coming up and you are not sure what sort of pet costume pattern to go with. Well you should know that there are quite a few to pick from, and you really want to get your personality into it and make sure that you choose just the right one for your dog. The hot dog is one very popular pet costume idea. That is because it is so easy to make and find, depending on which you would prefer to do. If you want to buy it, you scan just check out any pet costume store and you can find them with fake squirts of mustard and ketchup on them.
Now if you want to make your hot dog outfit, you are just going to have to start by measuring your dog. You want to see how long they are and how wide, and what the dimensions are all between their legs. This way you will know where to put the holes in their costume for their furry little paws.
Easter Bunny
Another good option for a pet costume idea is for the Easter Bunny. All you need is some pipe cleaner material for the fuzzy ears, and a little cotton ball for the tail. Remember you don't have to go all out when it's just for your pet, because they will look cute and be able to carry off any look that you choose for them to wear.
Santa
Another cute pet costume idea is to dress your doggy or kitty up as Santa. This is fun and really easy to do. You probably have a Santa Clause hat hanging around the house, so tie a ribbon onto this so you can strap it on around their neck, and then get them a little Santa outfit.
You can make the outfit if you like, from some red and black felt, and of course you want a little belt and black booties to go along with it.
