Painted Easter Eggs: How To Do It

There is really nothing nicer to make on Easter than beautiful painted Easter eggs, but just how do you do it? Well it is just as simple as making Easter cards and there are just a few different steps that you are going to have to follow. If you want to make painted Easter eggs and have them turn out beautifully then here is how you want to do it.

To get started making painted Easter eggs, of course the first thing that you are going to have to do is gather all your supplies together. The last thing that you want to do is start getting messy only to realize halfway through that you have forgotten something important that you need. There are a few important things that you are going to need if you want to make painted Easter eggs.

Of course you are going to need some eggs, enough for everyone who will be making them today, or at least enough to decorate whatever you are making. Then you are going to need some paint and this is the really fun part because you get to pick and choose whatever colors of paint you like.

Now to get started with your painted Easter eggs, you are first going to want to come up with some sort of design plan. This is important because of course you can just start painting abstractly on your eggs, but if you really want them to turn out the best that they can, then coming up with a design beforehand is going to be your best option.

You may want to have some sort of a theme, for instance use the same three colors on all the eggs, or maybe you want each one to have its own unique and creative design. Whatever the case may be, just at least have a general idea of what you want the eggs to look like before getting started here.

Now you will need to get the paint ready. There are water-based paints and oil-based paints, and just use whatever works better for you. Then to make painted Easter eggs you are going to want to use a smaller sized brush and start putting the paint on. Make sure that you have a sturdy tray to put the eggs on while they are drying, so that you don't smudge them. Then let them dry for a good couple of hours before you try taking them out.
