The registration for these services is free but you pay the service a percentage of what you make for providing a platform for the management of jobs for you. Think them as your agents in finding business.

There are also article content websites where you can write about what you know or what you are interested in and post your articles to the site. Then if your articles get a lot of "traffic", they eventually pay you a small amount for writing that article. To succeed on these sites, you have to post a lot of content to the site. But you can write about things you are passionate about and get paid for doing it. And that is what makes writing for a living a great job that fits your lifestyle and that is fun to do as well.
