When you became a mom, you did not stop being a college graduate. There have probably been times as you moved from the professional world into the role of full time mom that you thought about all the skills that you learned in college and if you would ever use those skills again. For many students, writing is one of the hardest things they have to learn. In a way, by offering your services to college students who have money but not the skill, talent or time to write is a way for you to be part of the college experience again. Now, there are ethical issues to keep in mind. As a mom, you don't want to send a message to your children that its ok to pay someone else to do your work. If a student contacts you to write a term paper for them, its unethical for you to all of the work and for that student to represent that paper to his or her instructors as original work. If you help with the research and even the composition, that may be a great way to help that student as long as the student is learning from what you are doing. This is where the "work at home" job of typing term papers becomes a mixture of typing and tutoring. But if it helps the young student do better in school and it helps you build your work at home career, two find objectives are met and everybody wins.
