The Developmental Disability Consultants is a private mental health group that offers a wide assortment of direct and advice-giving services to children and adults with disabilities, their families, service providers, and teachers. Recommendations are accepted for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, developmental disabilities, acquired brain injury, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy.
Services offered by the Developmental Disability Consultants include evaluation and diagnosis, forensic assessment, early intervention, psychotherapy, behavioral support, social and independent living skills training, training and technical assistance, and consultation with schools and other service providers. The Developmental Disability Consultants is dedicated to the standards of inclusion, opportunity, and choice for all individuals with disabilities.

Services for Adolescents and Adults with Developmental Disabilities
The Developmental Disability Consultants offer services such as:
Diagnosis and evaluation provides evaluation on areas such as cognitive functioning, developmental level, adaptive functioning, psycho-educational abilities, emotional status, and parenting abilities.
Behavior sport offers clinical case management, case consultation, and technical assistance in high-tech, positive intervention strategies for parents, service providers, school personnel, and interdisciplinary teams. Licensed clinicians carry out individualized, functional assessments of challenging behaviors.
Counseling and psychotherapy are available and treatment is goal-oriented and is offered in conjunction with regular contacts with the person's service provider and caregivers.
Skills training are also offered in specific skills such as assertiveness, social interaction, parenting, and anger management.
Consultation and in-service training, the Developmental Disability Consultants sponsors ongoing education programs accredited for attorneys, physicians, special educators, and psychologists. A list of workshops is also available.
Forensic services, DDC specializes in assessment of a variety of criminal and civil competencies, and provides services in the areas such as assessment of victims of abuse, parenting assessments, informed consent, competency and guardianship evaluations, specialized treatment programs for offenders, and evaluation of dangerous criminal behavior.
Based Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program
This Developmental Disability Consultants program offers wide array of services to adults and children with acquired brain injury such as stroke, and traumatic brain injury. The services include independent living skills training, functional assessment of adaptive functioning, individual and family counseling, group skills training, and behavior support. Rehabilitation is set in the person's own home and in the community. Clients are persuaded to become as self reliant as possible and progress towards meeting particular goals and objectives is monitored on an ongoing basis. Psychotherapy is also available to help clients and their families bend to the changes that inevitably occur as a result of brain injury.
