Hackers will always be a threat to people on the internet and especially to people who proactively volunteer information that can be considered as confidential. This information when in the wrong hands can lead to serious backlashes. 2. Rewards and penalties. One of the most important things to consider when you are applying for membership to a certain group is the "WIIFM" or "What's in it for me?" In certain cases when we look into the different groups that we could be part of we always take time to consider how it could benefit us. Whatever you want to call it social networking websites lessens real interaction between people. Social networking sites were originally made to renew connections with people that we know and make new friends. It was not meant to be the only world that we spend our lives in.
