If you use spamming techniques, you will not find the results you are looking for and remember the majority of the population perceives spamming unfavorably.

As you are looking to add new distributors to your network marketing business, remember that you will not be able to do so through e-mail methods alone. There will need to be a bit of interaction at some point if you expect your business to grow that aside you should make it a point, schedule if you prefer to update your e-mail opt-in leads.

As your network marketing business continues to grow, you will need to update your opt-in leads frequently, daily if you can. There are many ways to do this and in this article, we will look at how you can update your opt-in leads, which will help you to clean out the ones that are no longer productive for you. Your opt-in list will become ineffective if you cannot maintain those e-mails that are productive for your business so here are a few ways to keep your e-mail clean:

Managing Bounces - this is when the recipient's server refused your e-mail. This is a part of the business and you may still get bounces even with a clean opt-in list at a rate of approximately ten percent. To help manage the bounces you get consider creating folders for three categories: temporary bounce, gone-away, and bad addresses.

Temporary Bounces: It may be that the recipient does want to receive your e-mail but simply has a server problem. You would store their e-mail address in this folder and try back on occasion. There is a product called "Maxemail" that can be used in these circumstances to assure that your message does get through to their server.

Gone-aways: If the e-mail address has changed, or maybe you were sending your message to a particular employee at a place of business and they no longer employed by that company. Rather than lose the company as a client you can place them in this folder and use the "Maxemail" program to generate a list that you can pass on to the business to find out the name of the new contact.

Bad Addresses: To overcome the challenge of receiving a batch of invalid email addresses consider using a "double opt-in" method. This will help cut down on individuals who like to give false e-mail addresses. The double opt-in method will have them submit their e-mail and immediately your program will generated an e-mail that and send them to the recipient that requires them to click on a link to complete the opt-in process. There is also the method of refusing invalid addresses this is where the form that the individual fills out will automatically recognize any e-mails that you set it up to recognize thereby eliminating the extra e-mails in your inbox. This method will tell the individual that they are entering an incorrect e-mail address and to please enter a correct one to continue.

You want to be careful not to have duplications in your e-mail opt-in lists. Many times people have multiple e-mails and it is very annoying for them to receive the same message several times in a row. A way to help manage this is by "de-duplication." This means you can set up multiple fields that include the company name, surname, and first name of your contacts.

In all the messages that you send, you have to provide a clear method that allows the recipient to opt-out if they so choose. This is required by law and if you fail to do so, you will be held liable and may be required to pay fines even if it is your first offense. You may want to use a system that will automatically handle these types of requests. This will considerably lessen the amount of time you are going through your lists and you can utilize the time saved in ways that are more productive. Another method to help with those who want to unsubscribe is to set up a page that allows the recipient to specify their preferences for content they wish to receive and how often they wish to receive it along with the e-mails they prefer to use.

When you use the techniques described in cleaning out your opt-in e-mail lists you can expect the following results: your significant reduce your management time, you will not be liable for negating legal requirements, and you will maximize your opt-in list potential.
