Pay Per Click Advertising Using Awards

Pay per click technique is a charging system that website owners use when they want their advertisers to pay them when internet users see their advert banners on their websites and click on them. The search engine and website owner are not involved in determining how much they are going to charge the advertiser, rather, he makes that decision himself. The highest source of revenue for Google at the moment is Awards and it is the main technique used in the pay per click technique. It allows banner ads and text advertising to a targeted audience using the pay per click technique. It has spread to many countries all over the world as the only requirement Google asks of its users is internet facilities and creative content on the website.

For Awards, advertisers use two main ways to determine how much they should pay for their advertisements. This can either be on a flat rate basis or a bid-basis. In order to decide, the advertiser needs to be aware of the number of visitors that visit that website and the chances of those people also visiting his or her website. This can be determined by the type of audience the advertiser is targeting. If the website's target is the same as the targeted market for a product, there are higher chances of those visitors actually clicking on the advertisement. It is also important to consider the number of sales conversions one might get. If the audiences of both the advertiser and the website owner are the same, there are higher probabilities that they visitors might buy the product being advertised. Advertisers can determine the type of audience by the search terms internet users input in the query box or based on the context of the pages they are viewing.

Awards adverts are featured mainly on Google search engines but they also appear on major networks that collaborate with Google. Based on the results that appear on a results page, Awards determines the advertisements to post there. Advertisements are designed to fit into certain categories such as what an internet user is looking for, what part of the world they are located and at what time they are on the internet. Many search engines have indicated that people who log in to their internet late at night but for reasons other than work generate much traffic for a website but rarely buy the advertised products. However, when a person logs in at night and they are searching for a product, that person is more likely to be a sales lead that can later be converted into a sale.
