In a nursery you can work as a consultant for plant care as well as retailing.

A horticulturist also knows how to handle pests in plants. Therefore, you can work as a specialist in pest control. You can work for regulatory groups, agricultural dealers, processing companies, large farms or pesticides manufacturers.
