The body is a characteristic of human beings that enable us to communicate, rest, sit, stand, lie down, run, walk, play, sing, dance, jump, kick, fight, and the list continues. Some people believe the body talk's magical language since they find it difficult to understand what the body is saying, while others may find it easy and understand that it is a natural batch of signals read from the body.

One of the most common gestures that all of us can understand is the offensive middle finger flipping in the air. Another gesture similar to this that means the same in some cultures or languages is the hand down, slanted and flipping under the chin. This means the same in some cultures as the middle flip finger means.

Other languages include strutting. Some people will actually strut as they walk, which could read as vanity, street person, pimp and so forth. Some people will hold up a fist at a person which may mean you better shut up now or we are about to fight, or else a fight is on. The hand turned sideways with the fingers in a ball and the thumb pointing upward is a symbol alright dude in some languages. At what time I say some languages, I am saying that it depends on personality and cultures as to how the message is read.

For example, some people may think you are deceitful while your eyes are darting across the room as you speak, while others may think you are staying alert to everyone and everything in the area while speaking to someone else. If you lock the ankles while standing and place the arms, crossing them over the chest, some people may see defensive, annoyed, and so forth while others may see you resting your body while communicating.

If you use the eyes and look off to the left while speaking a person may think you are lying, while if you glance off to the right a person may see you as an honest person. How can you win in this game of illusion, called body signals and reading the language?

As people, they often will conform to a so-called normal society rule. If those rules go outside their boundaries the person will often feel threatened at the difference. Thus, body languages both reading and sending should consider culture, personality and so on while moving toward successful communications.

To move toward success you want to keep eye contact at all times while verbally speaking, yet you want to casually from time to time drift the eyes in another direction to avoid intimidating the person you are speaking too. If you are interested in a person, thus maintaining a balance in all areas of nonverbal and verbal communications is essential.

Your best chances of reaching success are keeping it real, honest, open, and sincere. People speaking to an insincere person can often sense this and will often walk away. Some men feel that if they tell a woman what she wants to hear they will have a chance at starting a relationship. While this may work with some of us, the majority of women know at what time you are lying and will quickly leave you presence.

Keeping it real in words and soul (body) will help you to work toward success. Try to remember that you want to treat people as you want to be treated. Never, attempt to lie (lies is often what people like to hear), regardless of who you are speaking too. One lie leads to another and the list continues, until one day your lies will reveal them self. What an embarrassment.
