Your Challenge: Dare To Dream

Your Challenge: Dare To Dream

Whether your childhood dreams are still buried within you or you have replaced them with new dreams as you got older, ask yourself, have you achieved any of them? Are you working to make them come true or have you told yourself not to dare to dream anymore because they will never happen anyway?

Sadly, many people have the latter sentiment and for different reasons. Many will say life just happened and they needed to set aside their dreams in order to survive. However, when we give up our dreams then we are merely existing and not living. Dreams give purpose to one's life. If you do not wish anything better for yourself or for your loved ones, then life loses meaning.

You must have seen people who seem like life was zapped out of them. They look at you with hollow eyes. They rarely offer a smile. These are the people who just go on day in and day out doing what they are doing just because. They have no real goals in life. They just want to survive. That is why the challenge to you is to dare to dream. Dare to believe that there is something better for you and that you can change your future and make it better.

When you dare to dream, it does not have to be overly fantastic. Just listen to yourself. Reflect and it will come to you. Ask yourself what you really want for yourself and for your loved ones. Your dreams may have been buried inside you for a long time because you were busy with things that needed to get done but it is never too late to dare to dream.

With a clear idea of what you want in life, you need to actively pursue your dream. Half-hearted attempts will not work. Working on your dream whenever it is convenient for you will not work. When you dare to dream, you should also dare to do. By this, it means that you should be willing to do what it takes to turn your dreams into a reality whether it means you have to give up certain comforts and indulgences.

Some dreams require that you make drastic changes in your life. Other dreams call for simple steps that you need to do every single day to make it happen. It depends on your own dreams and circumstances in life. Big or small, be ready to do your part when you dare to dream and you will be rewarded with success.
