The Welsh corgi is also one of the classic breeds of the small dog. This small dog is very popular with the royalty of England, more specifically, Queen Elizabeth II. If you want a small dog that is playful and affectionate, then you should get the Welsh corgi. What's more, there are two breeds of the Welsh corgi, and these are the Cardigan and the Pembrokeshire.
Lastly, there's the toy poodle, which is popular all over Europe. This small dog demands a certain level of maintenance due to its fluffy coat. In spite of this, the toy poodle is just about the most undemanding small dog anyone can ever get.
