The inhabitants of the island are wary of tourism, not wanted the island to be damaged, but still offer many souvenir and other shopping options to tourists. Kauai also has many wonderful beaches and spectacular scenery to visit and is a surf center as well, like Oahu's North beach.

Pricing

Hawaii's luxury vacation home pricing depends on the location of the home. If it is located on the beach, then the price goes up. If the location is on Kauai rather than Oahu, the price is usually lower. The average price for a Hawaiian luxury vacation home that sleeps about ten people is around one thousand dollars per day. These homes usually have about five bedrooms and almost that many bathrooms and have many different amenities for people to choose from. One such amenity is usually a pool and Jacuzzi. Pricing is almost always less when the home is rented for a full week rather than a number of days. Some Hawaiian luxury vacation home rentals are even available for an entire month, giving the renters plenty of time to enjoy all the islands have to offer in a home away from home.
