Love and Relationships Out Of Date

Love and Relationships are outdated. Many times, I wander around searching the expressions of couples; I wonder how they stay together in love. The couples I see today often show what they desperately attempt to hide, and that is a void within their souls. The two may appear happy together, but underneath there seems to be a missing element within.

The perfect relationship never exists no matter how happy a couple appears. Couples often join in relationships to fill voids, and starting at the beginning of the relationship, the void seems to fill, but as the relationship, progresses the couple may drift apart. Thus, what makes a relationship work? Are relationships out of date; or is relationships newly defined.

Relationships consist of a man and woman, however today Love and Relationships are under defined, since nowadays men are with men, women with women, or threesomes, foursomes, and so forth. Couples in relationships may join in-group sex, or else participate in swinging clubs, or nudist camps. Nowadays, men and women are consumed in pleasing, rather than learning how to love each other truly.

Love has a new meaning today. At one time, families work hard to stay together through thick, thin, better, worse, sickness, health and until death do them apart. Now, love works until someone makes the mistake that opens an emotion, sending the mate into a world of confusion, until finally the two decide they are not compatible and separate.

Love today means, I love you if you give me the room to do as I please and trust that I know the different between right and wrong, which right to me may not be wrong. In other words, few mates may frequent stripper clubs, pornographic viewings, swinger clubs, nudist camps, or other wrongful activities, and claim that nothing was wrong with this behavior or action. Yet, the mate is opposed against the activities and behaviors, since the mate knows the result of these harmful productions. The two will argue, with one stammering, “You do not trust me.” The truth is, the mate opposed is right while the other mate is seriously wrong, but the way the world views, and the decrease of morals, values, and standards; who is really going to listen to the opposed who is truly right?

Today, we can turn on the TV and nudity or profanity shatters the screen, while the world watches believing no harm is done. Thus, the morality, standards, and value drop around the world has proven nothing more than an increase in divorces; increase of violence, and decrease of humane.

The world is changing rapidly, thus the world is heading in the wrong direction, which is down. The people around the world today engage in ungodly behaviors, while many stammer, “If it feels good, do it.” We are who we are, many claim. The ignorant souls are only stating an excuse to permit behaviors ordinarily unacceptable to society. At one time, television programs that depicted nudity, profanity, or other harmful actions and words were unacceptable. At one time, you never heard of stripper clubs, swinging parties, or other types of garbage on television. While many will excuse this behavior, attempting to make the behaviors right, by claiming “Open-minds will try any thing once.” This is far from the truth, since a real open-minded person utilizes judgment, caution, wisdom, et cetera, and often knows what is right and what is wrong. As you can see, Love and Relationships are out of date, since love means nothing in most relationships, or else love means how much sex you are giving me. Nowadays, couples join in relationships to fill a void. Most have not identified them self, and will enter a relationship, searching for the lost soul, believing the mate will fill the wanton. Later, throughout the relationship they often find that the void is still there, and may alert their mate, stating, “I guess we made a bad choice.” In addition, the conversation continues, “I do not believe we belong together.”
