Where Is Love and Relationships Heading

Love, down through the years, has proven to lead toward an untrue type of love, since today respect, consideration and other elements of love are non-existing. When two people join in relationships and love they must adhere to the advice provided to them by the Law of God and not man. When couples step on boundaries and disregard true advice they often find them self-heading down the path to divorce and/or separation, thus, finding true love takes skill, patients, long-suffering, and other human mechanisms to make love last.

To find true love one must exercise self-control. When self-control is in its place, the person will evaluate or assess any situation that comes their way. Self-control leads a person to thinking logically and critically when serious commitments are in the making. Self-control is exercised throughout every activity, or decision made in many homes. When a child disobeys the parent self-control is essential, otherwise the parent may loose control and possibly cause harm to the child.

One example of utilizing self-control is visual in the following assessment. A man comes home from work late. His wife prepared dinner expecting her mate at a particular hour. The man is four hours late and when the woman phoned his place of work, she had found he already left hours ago. The woman obviously has a purpose to feel angry, however acting out on the anger may lead to additional problems. Thus, the woman calmly approaches her husband after warming up his dinner and politely asks where have you been?

The man bitterly stammers it is none of your business where I have been. The woman instead of allowing her emotions strike back, calmly states, I care about you and feel concerned about your well-being. When you do not come home after work and I call wondering where you are at, I feel worried. I do not know if something has happen to you, if you are ok, or if something is wrong.

The man stares aimlessly for a moment at his wife, and finally (acts in an adult manner) says, you are right. I had a bad day at work and went to Robert’s house to talk. I know I should have given you a call, and I am sorry. The two end the night talking about the husband’s day and no further harm is in existence.

Assessing the situation we seethe woman utilized self-control regardless of the threaten emotions the husband forced upon her. The man first acting hasty, and immature, but when he seen his wife had legit concern he adjusted his attitude and committed to his wife.

The assessment brings us to maturity. When a relationship joins and maturity is, lacking often the relationships will turn sour. Thus, maturity is visual in the previous illustration. When a person exercises self-control, they are enforcing the maturity in the relationship, thus acting out childishly only leads to problems.

A childish relationship is when one party or the other fails to see the seriousness and commitment in a relationship. Relationships focus on commitment, thus when seriousness is lacking the relationship will endure storms.

Of course, natural problems arise in relationships, however childish behaviors only add to the problems. The question arises when a childish relationship develops. Where is love and relationship heading?

The truth is if the mate has tolerance, patients, self-control, and long-suffering combined to a degree the relationship may last. If the mate has other qualities that are appealing to the partner, thus childish behaviors can be overlooked in most instances.

Thus to determine the direction a relationship is heading depends on one mates traits, outlook, et cetera. Conduct has won over many men down through the centuries, thus women from afar have gain the respect and love deserving of them while exercises self-control and long-suffering alone.

Men also need to exercise the mechanism built within our conscious mind or subconscious mind to make a relationship work. When two people work together, thus the relationship is obviously heading in a good direction.
