Little Things That Breakdown Love And Relationships
Little Things that Breakdown Love and Relationships
The little things that breakdown love and relationships make us wonder if love exists, and if relationships will stand without tumbling under every mistake made throughout the term of the relationship.
Throughout the years, men and women alike complain about their mates. Men often complain about their mate getting on their backs for leaving the toilet seat up.
First, I am not writing this article to uplift men or women, rather I am writing the article to help you see where little things lead.
Let us think about this situation. Women, if you want to complain about your mate leaving the toilet seat up, you may want to consider..."when you use the bathroom what is on your mind? Do you put the seat up when you leave the room? Is the toilet (material) worth causing problems in a relationship? Is your mate really showing you inconsideration, and if so, what consideration are you showing him when you leave the toilet seat down."
Women often complain that their mate is sloppy. Women complain that their mate never picks up behind them self, or else tosses their clothes around the room. Again, examining this situation carefully can help you to come to terms of agreement. If your mate is tossing clothes about the room, or else failing to pick up behind him self...do you work at home taking care of the children and home and do not have a career outside of the home? Of course, homemaking is one of the hardest careers, since consideration, self-control, and long-suffering must continue throughout the process of raising children, but what does your husband do? Is he a construction worker? If you do not have an extra job outside of the home, consider that your husband lifted heavy equipment each day to provide necessities for the family and that he works throughout the day tolerating various personality types, while receiving commands throughout the day. Is the material problem worth risking your relationship, since complaining about the little things will only escalate to bigger things?
Men, if your mate is working two jobs with one taking care of you and your children, you may want to show some consideration and respect.
Men often complain that women gossip. While study human behaviors I noted this to be true for both men and women. Men gossip also, but you rarely hear the women complain about this behavior, thus the world has only heard the complaints coming from men. Gossip is harmful. Thus, all of us are encouraged to avoid gossiping. Gossip is also a waste of valuable and precious time. To those men complaining that the mate gossips too much, step back and look at your history of communicating with others to see if, you are not a hypocrite before telling your mate to tone it down.
There is nothing wrong with confronting your mate when bad habits interfere with the relationship. If you mate truly loves you the mate will tone it down, or get rid of the object causing the problem. Little things grow if communication fails to step in between and open up minds to stop or slow the problem adding harm to the relationship.
When couples bicker and fight over little things they are wasting precious time and destroying love. If a person has a problem with their mate's behaviors, habits, or personality, thus addressing it now is far better than letting it ride.
Example: You never pick up behind your self: Response: And you are always complaining. I see two immature people hear adding fuel to the flames.
Honey, I feel unappreciated when you toss your clothes around and fail to pick up behind yourself. Response: honey I was tired, but I promise I will work on my habits in the future. I see two individuals showing maturity and consideration and an outlook for a positive relationship.
Example: I am tired of you leaving the toilet seat up when you use the bathroom. Response: I am tired of you telling me what I am not doing.
Wife: my husband leaves the toilet seat up...so what, I leave the toilet seat down when I use the bathroom.
