Death And Inner Peace

Death and Inner Peace

Death is the number one object in the way of inner peace for most people. Some people come to terms in their life when they say I do not care if I die, or I am not afraid of death. Death is the final stage of everyone’s life so most think.

People for years’ have wondered the lonely path of life wonder, what was the purpose to give life if we are going to die. Others wonder through life worrying about death until that day they decide, I do not care if I die. Where is the inner peace? How can we get inner peace when we know we all are going to die?

Death terrifies millions of people each day, thus the people worrying rarely find inner peace. Some people go through life doing as they please saying oh well I am going to die anyway, in their mind. This is an excuse to behave and act out of human nature, and the negative thinking leads nowhere and inner peace is out of reach.

As we consider death one might ask, why bother with inner peace. The purpose of finding inner peace is to delay death by taking care of self. When a person has the ability to know who they are, what they want, and where they are headed, they have the ability to reach their inner peace.

Doctors and scientist for decades have searched the world searching for a way to prevent death, prolong death, or else recreate death. The people obviously are terrified of death, since if death did not bother them, they would not have the ultimate method in mind to stopping the nature process of death. The answers are in front of him, which I will not write in this article, since we do not want to go on a biblical spree at this time. Still, these people wonder through life and may find a measure of inner peace, but true quietness of the mind will not exist until they come to grips with reality and truth.

We are human beings born with the gift of inner peace. The peace may seem far beyond our reach, but the peace is there. A person living on fears will find it hard to achieve inner peace, but still the tranquility exists within our mind and soul.

To find your fears and remove them to reach inner peace, you must search your mind thoroughly. If you are afraid of heights ask your self what about heights terrify you. If you are afraid of death, ask your self what it is about death that frightens you.

Now ask self what you can do about the fear of heights. If you do not find a resolve, your inner peace will remain left inside of you for uncovering. At one time, I was afraid of heights and nearly choked a man while flying in a 757. After getting lost at an airport and never reaching my destination I returned home and asked myself what terrified me. I did not crash and nothing bad happen during the trip except what I caused from my own fear. At this point, I decided it was time to take the fear out of my way to find my inner peace. Since this experience, I have flown on a few planes, including a smaller plane. My fear was demolished and my process of inner peace and achieving my quietness of mind was closer.

Fear of death or other types of fear can restrain you from achieving your inner peace. While death is the number one fear in most people, other fears accumulate throughout our lifetime. The mind can only take so much until you take the steps to find the relief you need to feel at peace. Death may be something you cannot do anything about, therefore why fear what you have no control over, and miss the opportunity to find your inner peace.
